Laurence R. Martin is the managing partner of the Billings law firm of Felt, Martin, Frazier, & Weldon, P.C. His practice includes school law, litigation, labor and employment law, commercial law, water law and agricultural law. Larry earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1965. He began his involvement with public education when he served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Hardin School District and he has continuously represented schools for 30 years. Larry also engages in collective bargaining for public and private entities. He is a former president of the Montana Council of School Attorneys and has lectured throughout Montana on school-related topics. Larry is a member of the Yellowstone County and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of Montana, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the Defense Research Institute.
